As with documents, we offer microfilm digitization services where we scan and convert microfilm images to digital. We can convert all microforms including 16mm & 35mm roll film, Aperture Cards and Microfiche. Once digitized, these microfilm images can now be used with all standard Document Management/ECM systems or can be uploaded to most standard digital repositories.
Depending upon the quality of the microfilms, the scanned images can be processed for OCR and converted to searchable text. Further, the content can then be formatted for use on mobile devices such as Kindle and other similar devices.
